Types of processors/CPUs.

Processors have changed considerably in recent years. Where previously a relatively large amount of gold was needed, improved technology now allows for a fraction of that and still delivers much better performance. Usually, the older the computer, the more valuable the processor is.

Goldcap CPUs were in the first generation of computers for the general public and are becoming increasingly rare. These CPUs consist of a ceramic plate with pins and a gold cap.
The successor to the Goldcap is the CPU ceramic. This also has a ceramic plate but no gold cap.
The CPU plastic has gold-plated pins on a plastic plate and is brown or green in color.
The CPU base can be found in the newer generations of PCs. It is characterized by a copper or aluminum cooler attached to the plastic plate (with or without pins).

Do you regularly have large quantities of processors to recycle? Then we would like to make it easy for you with our container service. Within our region, you can use this free of charge. We place a container in the desired size. Container full? Then we will collect it from you and, if desired, immediately place an empty container. After processing the contents of the full container, we pay out your proceeds to you in the agreed manner.
