WHAT IS DATA DESTRUCTION?
Data destruction is actually the complete destruction of devices containing data. It is shredded into pieces, making it completely unusable. This prevents parts of the data from being left behind for unwanted use.
WHAT DOES AN OLD CIRCUIT BOARD YIELD?
The more a device has to ''transmit,'' the more valuable metals are present. For example, a toothbrush does not need to communicate with another device, so it is equipped with a small and simple circuit board. The gold from such a circuit board provides approximately €0.45 per kilo on. A board from a cell phone, for example, is immediately a lot more complicated. Because those circuit boards do have to transmit, the yield per kilogram also increases significantly with them. In this case, you quickly talk about €9.80 per kilo in yield!
So the value of circuit board waste depends mainly on the product it comes from, in combination with the function it has.
