Recycling at Van Pelt
Van Pelt Recycling would like to make it as easy as possible for you. You can hand in your air conditioner (and any other recyclable materials, of course) in our special drive-thru hall. There you are welcome, without appointment, six days a week. We will help you unload your materials and sort them. Then we weigh your materials. You can see for yourself; this way we are transparent to the maximum. It is important that the air conditioners are free of Freon. Van Pelt works with competitive current prices, so you always get a fair price for your old air conditioner. We pay this directly to you and you get a credit note with it. This makes turning in your materials fun!
Materials in old air conditioners
An air conditioning system consists of copper and aluminum in addition to iron and plastic. These are valuable materials that are great for recycling. The air conditioner is controlled by means of a circuit board. Through pre-processing, all these materials can be recycled separately and we pay the value of these materials to you. Thus, together we ensure sustainable recycling and make an important contribution to a better environment.
Air conditioning recycling for businesses
Are you a seller/installer of air conditioning systems and therefore have air conditioners to dispose of on a regular basis? We are happy to help you with that, for example by placing a container. By making use of our container service, we relieve you of a maximum burden and you can get back to your core business. We place a container of your choice (various sizes are available, from 1m³ to even 40 m³). When the container is full, you can simply report this to us and the full container will be exchanged for an empty one within 2 days. Would you like more information about this?
